Amazing food prepared by event co-host Johanna Cook of Momma Cuisine and Jennifer Cannon of Cupcake Whimsy. A downtown Naperville home opened to a good cause and beautifully decorated by event co-host and homeowner Doreen Schweitzer of Doreen Schweitzer Interiors, Ltd. An evening to raise money for Loaves & Fishes set to the tunes of a Kevin Conlin Entertainment duo.

Guests joined together last Wednesday at the Because We Care cocktail party to benefit the Loaves & Fishes Community Pantry and end hunger in our community! Loaves & Fishes serves Naperville and DuPage County individuals whose circumstances make it difficult to provide for themselves or their families. As of November 2011, family visits to the pantry were up 59% over the same time in 2010-they need our help!

This three-hour event also featured an auction of original artwork by conceptual artist and painter Elaine Mullowney. 30% of the art proceeds will be donated to Loaves & Fishes! Also on the agenda: Maria Ramos of A Savings WOW!was busy conducting a #lifestylechat on Twitter from 7-8 p.m.
