{lifestyle} SEARS (@Sears) Love/Hate Project Turns Reviews Into Charitable Contributions
“Customer opinions are important to us at Sears. Good or bad, we want to encourage our online community to share their thoughts on our products,” said Adriana Llames, division vice president, social media marketing for Sears. “The Love/Hate project will help us continue our commitment to providing products our customers love while helping to further the work of their favorite charities.”
Starting May 17, and continuing through June 28, 2012, Sears customers can make a difference through the Love/Hate campaign by sharing their opinions on Facebook. Customers of all ages are invited to participate.* Every two weeks Sears will make a contribution to one of the four charities, with the final grand prize charity receiving a $100,000 contribution that will be announced on Sears Holdings’ SHOP YOUR WAY SM social commerce site at www.shopyourway.com.
Leading up to the grand prize announcement, Sears will award the remaining three charities differing amounts based on the number of votes, totaling $48,000. Customers can find more information about the Love/Hate project and share their thoughts by visiting Facebook. Additionally, they can follow the SHOP YOUR WAY Love.Hate Page to get tidbits about the program along the way and find out who the Grand Prize winner is at http://bit.ly/LoveHate2012.
