Dijon Crusted Pork Chops

When I'm having to deal with three active kids, a laundry hamper over-flowing with clothes and a house cluttered with toys, the last thing I want to do is hang out in front of the stove making dinner.

Even for someone like myself who enjoys cooking, on nights like these, it's nearly impossible to get anything done! But a home-cooked meal at my house is not an option, so I have learned to come up with recipes that have a restaurant appeal without as much ingredients or work in preparation.

This recipe of Dijon Crusted Pork Chops is just that. Restaurant appeal, home-cooked and delicious.

Ingredients:
  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • Dijon mustard
  • 1.5 cups of bread crumbs
  • 2 teaspoons of Dried Italian Seasoning
  • 1.5 tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Instructions:

Heat the oven to 375 degrees.

In a mixing bowl, gently combine breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, salt and olive oil. Mix well.

Cover a cookie sheet lightly with oil and drizzle some oil on top of the pork chops.

Take the Dijon mustard and spread about 1-2 teaspoons of the Dijon mustard on top of the pork chops.

Then, take the breadcrumb mixture and place some of top of the pork chops.

Bake in the oven, uncovered for about 20-25 minutes.
