Five Spice & Brown Sugar Cranberry Apricot Ham Glaze

Baked Ham has adorned millions of American families kitchen tables during the holidays. Whether it's Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter, Baked Ham is a sure staple and in any Holiday spread.

This Thanksgiving, make your favorite Baked Ham and with this delicious and simple recipe for Five Spice & Brown Sugar Cranberry Apricot Glaze. This dish uses my recipe for Cranberry Apricot Sauce, adding a little more Apricot Glaze, brown sugar, Pineapple juice and Five Spice. What comes out is a sweet glaze that uses the theme of the Thanksgiving season, Cranberries!                                                       

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of Pineapple Juice
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of apricot preserves (or jelly)
  • 1/4 cup of cranberry sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of Chinese Five Spice
Instructions:

In a sauce pan, slowly simmer all the ingredients in a low boil, until the mixture has reduced to about half and has thickened.

With a brush, glaze your ham about every 20 minutes.
