Cocoa & Espresso Dusted Ribeye Steak

My easy recipe of Cocoa & Espresso Dusted Ribeye Steak is nothing but a little cocoa powder, ground espresso, cayenne pepper and brown sugar. Four simple ingredients that many have in their pantries, ready to be turned into an awesome steak dinner!

Ingredients:
  • 4 Ribeye Steaks
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 cup Ground Espresso
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cayenne Pepper
  • 3 teaspoons Salt
  • Olive Oil
Instructions:

In a mixing bowl combine all the dry ingredients together thoroughly.

If you have thick-cut ribeye steaks – heat the oven to 400 degrees. Otherwise, you can cook the steaks on your stovetop.

Take you dry rub and liberally dust your steaks with the cocoa and espresso rub on both sides and let sit for at 10-15 minutes.

Take a large skillet and heat on medium-high heat with a couple tablespoons of olive oil.

Once the pan is hot, sear both sides of the steak and cook to your desired temperature.

If your steaks are thicker, sear quickly on both sides, then roast in the oven until cooked to your desired temperature.

Serve with your favorite sides!
