For a ton us, the dishwasher is a God-send, allowing us to slave less in front of the sink and find some other things around the house to clean. Here are my simple tips of  how to clean toys and tools with your dishwasher.

The dishwasher can be used to clean and sanitize many other things around the house besides your cutlery, plateware and cookware. This video shows you how to clean toys and tools with your dishwasher, and you better believe are there are many, many more things you can utilize your dishwasher for.

At steaming hot temperatures, sprays that are powerful, yet delicate enough for your expensive China, and settings to fully dry, the dishwasher can be a very effective tool to help you simple sanitize many things around the house that you may not have thought of. Household Items to Wash in the Dishwasher

• Non-battery toys and action figures
• Garden tools*
• Non-battery tools
• Light fixtures
• Kitchen sponges
• Flower vases
• Sand buckets*
• Rubber flip-flops*
• Bath Toys
• Swimming goggles

*Tools and toys used outdoors should be rinsed in the sink to take out debris before placing in the dishwasher.
