Blueberry Kombucha Jello

I have started to love kombucha - a fermented drink made with live active cultures that isn't only good for, but also really good! For those who love the fizz from soda and looking for a fun and fresh new alternative, try kombucha. I have teamed up with my friends at Nessalla Kombucha from Madison, Wisconsin to bring you recipes using their delicious kombucha.

This recipe for Blueberry Kombucha Jello is a fun way to get your kids their favorite treat and making it with kombucha. Plop in some fresh berries or other fruits, or even some edible flowers - making it perfect for a bridal or baby shower.  

                                                    
Ingredients:
  • 2, 16 oz bottles of Nessalla Blueberry Kombucha
  • 2 packets of unflavored gelatin
  • 1//4 cup granulate sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Fresh blueberries
Instructions:

Put the kombucha in a large mixing bowl and add the two packets of gelatin and whisk.

In a small saucepot heat the water and sugar together until the sugar dissolves. Turn the heat off immediately.

Add the simple syrup in the kombucha and whisk together. Add the kombucha is ramekins add the fresh berries in. Place the ramekins on a cookie sheet and in the fridge for at least 3-4 hours, or overnight.
