Mozzarella and Basil Chicken Roll Ups #RaguGameDay #sponsored

Game day is all about the game! Game day food needs to be easy to make yet delicious and hearty. My recipe for Mozzarella and Basil Chicken Roll Ups is a great game day food. Instead of serving on a plate with side dishes, try it sliced up in a between two pieces of crusty bread for a delicious chicken sandwich!

Go to your local Safeway to grab some Ragu and make this recipe. It is so easy and impressive.

Ingredients:
  • 1 bottle of Ragu Old World Traditional Sauce
  • 4 chicken cutlets
  • 1 bunch fresh basil, whole leaves
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • Dried Italian seasoning
  • Paprika
Instructions:

Heat the oven to 400 degrees.

Take the chicken cutlets and make sure they are pounded thin. Take each cutlet and line with whole basil leaves and sprinkle generously with shredded mozzarella cheese. Then, Gently but tightly roll each chicken cutlet. Sprinkle each chicken roll up with 1/2 teaspoon salt, some dried Italian seasoning and paprika.

After all chicken roll ups have been seasoned, place each roll up in a baking pan with Ragu Old World Traditional sauce on the bottom. Then, bake in the oven, uncovered for about 30 minutes.

Make sure the chicken is cooked thoroughly to 165 degrees. Then, let cool for about 10 minutes. Slice and put in between toasted French bread or with your choice of side dishes.
