A short film reminding you to play with your kids by Radio Flyer

Radio Flyer Showcases "Taking Flight", A Short Movie

On Saturday, September 10, 2016, me and kids visited the Radio Flyer headquarters in Chicago to watch the premiere of "Taking Flight", a short film by Moonbot studios.

"Taking Flight" is about learning how to use your imaginations and share the power of play with your children. Moms always have the reputation of being overly consumed with keeping the house in order and homemaking that we forget about play. Dads seem to naturally take on the role of the "fun one", while moms are always the disciplinarians. I am one of them

This short film touched me and reminded me of how important it is for me as a mom to also find ways to connect with children through play. I may be horrible at sports, I can't dribble a basketball to save my life, no matter how much I watch football I just can't understand the rules of the game, but there are a lot of other ways that I can share playtime with my kids and use them as bonding opportunities. I appreciated "Taking Flight" for reminding me of that.

Radio Flyer reaches their 100 anniversary, this iconic red wagon has been built in the homes and lives of Americans and has helped weave the fabric of American childhood for generations. Watch "Taking Flight" by Radio Flyer and Moonbot Studios below.
