My favorite holiday memory is going over my Grandma's house when I was just a young boy. I always had a huge pile of mashed potatoes and for dessert it was homemade apple pie!

My favorite holiday memory is going to my grandmothers house on Christmas eve and all the presents were closed off in another room and my brothers and myself trying to sneak in there just to find my grandfather asleep on the couch! So funny he just looked at us and smiled real big as we closed the door lol

My favorite holiday memory is sleeping under the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. I always hoped to stay awake to find Santa. Never did. But it was always a delight to fall asleep under the twinkling lights of the tree and wake up surrounding with gifts for everyone in our family!

One of my favorite Christmas memories is camping out in the family station wagon when I was 5 with my 13 year old brother. I wanted to catch Santa's arrival. I fell asleep before he showed, though.

My favorite holiday memory is definitely Christmas! As a kid I could open one gift Christmas Eve and I hardly could sleep after I opened that one gift. My mind wondered on what else could be for me under the tree. Now that I'm a mom Christmas is focused on my kids and I can't wait to see their faces come this Christmas morning.

We didn't live near family so it was my brother, sisters and parents. One year we went to look at Christmas lights and every time we hit a bump in the street the car horn would honk. My Dad opened the hood and started yanking out wires. 50 years later we all remember and are still laughing about it.

My favorite holiday memory is probably from when I was a kid and my dad accidentally put Grandma's applesauce all over everything because he thought it was gravy. For some reason that was just hilarious and remains a family joke to this day!

My favorite holiday memory is from my child hood. Every Christmas Eve when we took her home after dinner we would drive around town and look at all the beautiful lights, I really miss doing that with her. Now not many people decorate or even put up lights anymore.

Whenever you called someone on Christmas Day, you would not say hello...instead you had to be the first person to say "Christmas Gift!" I'm not sure where than came from but when someone not in the family would call, they would be very confused. LOL Merry Christmas!
