The 5 Best Appetizers to Have at a Party

Hosting a party can be stressful. Making sure your house is tidy, serving the perfect food choices for your guests, creating the best decorations and pretty centerpieces, etc... Remember, a dinner party doesn’t have to be stressful. It’s about a fun and relaxed get together that keeps your guests (and you!) at ease. And let’s be real, a party isn’t a great party without delicious appetizers. Have no fear, here are 5 best appetizers to have at a party!

  1. Beer Dip

Beer dip is one of these easiest dips to make and once you make it, people will ask for it time and time again! This creamy combo is packed with the delicious flavors of beer, cheese, and bacon - you can serve it with pretzels, chips, or both! Beer dip can be made with any type of beer, including non-alcoholic beer. Tip - the stronger the flavor of the beer, the more robust the dip will taste. The dip tastes like the beer you use, so use your favorite.

  1. Cream Cheese Anything

A simple block of cream cheese can be your secret weapon to the perfect appetizer. So many options with that one main ingredient. Cream cheese and flavored pepper jam - there is no way this won’t be a crowd favorite. Serve with crackers, bread, or pretzels. Another easy dip - Chips, salsa, and cream cheese bean dip. So simple to make and only 4 ingredients - cream cheese, cheese, Rotel tomatoes, and taco seasoning. Serve with tortilla chips.

  1. Sliders

Sliders will keep everyone happy and you have so many choices. Not only do they look perfect on the platter, but they also are handheld, and the options for fillings are endless. You can serve hot dog sliders with mango-pineapple salsa. Shredded turkey sliders, caramelized ham and cheese sliders, or crab cake sliders, and the list goes on and on. Of course, the easiest way to make sliders is with Hawaiian rolls, but any buns or dinner rolls will work as well.

  1. Taco Dip

Another simple dip recipe, start with a cream cheese and sour cream base, add taco seasoning, and then topped off with classic taco toppings. There is no right or wrong here. Add lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions, you like black olives or jalapenos? Add them! Serve with tortilla chips.

  1. Boneless Buffalo Wings

Let’s be honest, buffalo wings are a must-have at any party, but eating bone-in wings can be a bit difficult and sloppy. That’s where boneless wings shine, they are the perfect size for dipping and popping right into your mouth. Tossed in buffalo sauce, boneless wings are the perfect appetizer for a crowd. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing, carrots, and/or celery.
