Is chicken soup a bit of a cliche? Yes, but that’s only because it actually works, and it’s a brilliant thing to cook and eat when you’re not very well. The fact is that chicken soup isn’t just comforting - it’s packed with nutrients, it’s easy to digest, and it helps to keep you hydrated.
