Blackberry Lime Green Tea Recipe

Blackberry Lime Green Tea Recipe

The health benefits of green tea are wonderful as evidenced by various scientific studies! From giving a boost to your metabolism to minimizing the risks of heart disease, more and more number of people have started incorporating a cup of green tea to their daily diet. Especially in summer, having a cup of iced green tea works wonders. And if you’re in mood for a twist, you can try some tangy flavors with your green tea. To shrug-off the heat, this summer I tried making blackberry lime green recipe.

I have been wanting to experiment with my green tea drink for a long time now, and finally I tried something new. Considering that I’m a big fan of berries, it didn’t take long for me to start adapting to the taste this drink. Fresh and fabulous, this non-alcoholic drink can conveniently be served to people of any age group. It is one of the easiest ways to get your family members to drink this healthy drink without even knowing it.

As mentioned earlier, green tea has a lot of health benefits. I possibly eliminated a few of them by adding the sugar, but you can do away with it by adding sugar substitutes to keep your drink sugar-free. I made of pitcher of iced tea and then prepared some blackberry lime green tea as a tester. It tasted absolutely wonderful. To that, I wanted to add some more mint flavor, as I was in the mood to experiment. So I muddled some mint leaves into the bottom of another glass and poured my drink into it. And guess what, it turned out to be great! Another reason why this drink is absolutely wonderful is because it tastes amazing even without sugar or sweetener.

You can also add Pauwela Kombucha for an extra kick and health benefits.

Check out the recipe and try it out for yourself. I personally prefer using Tetley Green Tea for this recipe.
