CBD-Infused Spaghetti Recipes

What can be better than a bowl of steaming spaghetti, served with your favorite sauce on a cold evening after a long day at work or school? Better yet, spaghetti is quick and easy to prepare, so you don’t need to spend hours slaving over a hot stove to produce a tasty meal.

Cannabinol, or CBD, is harvested from the hemp plant, and we are only now starting to understand its many healing properties. Much research is going into finding out how much it can help people who struggle with chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and skin conditions, among others.

There are many ways of using CBD, including topically applied creams, gel capsules, and gummies. However, many people prefer to ingest the product in its oil form, and there are lots of ways you can include it in your cooking.

Here are some spaghetti recipes infused with CBD for you to try:

CBD pasta sauce

Ingredients

  • 400mg canned tomato paste
  • A medium-sized onion, chopped
  • 250mg minced beef
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • ½ cup chopped red pepper
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons tomato puree
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon each salt, pepper, and thyme
  • 25mg grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • Your preferred dose of CBD oil

Method
 
  • Prepare the chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated parmesan cheese and set them aside.
  • Mix the beef stock cube in the water after boiling.
  • Put the olive oil and CBD oil into a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat.
  • Once the oil is hot, add the onion and garlic, and cook until they start giving off a little liquid.
  • Increase the heat, add the minced beef, and brown it.
  • Add the other ingredients, EXCEPT the parmesan cheese, and allow the mixture to cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Taste and season according to preference.
  • Add the parmesan cheese to thicken the mixture.
  • Remove from heat and serve on a bed of spaghetti.

Spicy Mexican CBD pasta sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. organic ground beef
  • 32 oz canned diced tomatoes
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 1 cup each chicken stock and chicken broth
  • 4 tablespoons each fresh, chopped basil and crushed red pepper flakes
  • 5 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons each fresh parsley and cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground chipotle pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Method

  • Warm olive oil in a medium-sized saucepan.
  • Add the onion and garlic, cooking until soft and releasing their aromas.
  • Reduce the heat to medium.
  • Add the stock, broth, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, meat, spices, and herbs.
  • Allow the mixture to cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the CBD oil and stir it in thoroughly, allowing the mixture to cook a little longer.
  • Taste and add extra seasoning as needed.
  • Serve immediately with hot spaghetti.

CBD pesto sauce



Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh basil
  • ½ cup spinach
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup each broccoli sprouts and walnuts
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Your preferred dose of CBD

Method

  • Whisk the olive oil and CBD oil together until thoroughly combined.
  • Blend the pesto ingredients until combined.
  • Add the olive oil and CBD mixture to the pesto and stir well.
  • Prepare a pot of edamame spaghetti.
  • Serve spaghetti in bowls, with the pesto sauce tossed in.

Vegetarian CBD pasta sauce

Ingredients

  • Your preferred dose of CBD
  • 28 oz whole peeled tomatoes (fresh or canned)
  • 12 oz chopped roasted red peppers
  • 4 fresh basil leaves
  • 5 cups spinach
  • 1 cup onions, chopped and peeled
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 diced yellow squash and zucchini
  • 3 teaspoons mushroom powder
  • ½ teaspoon each dry oregano, salt, and pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Parmesan cheese for garnishing

Method

  • Mix the CBD and olive oils together thoroughly.
  • Place the CBD-infused oil in a medium-sized saucepan and warm at medium heat.
  • Add zucchini, squash, garlic, onions, red pepper flakes, and salt.
  • Cook until ingredients are soft.
  • Add the roasted peppers, mushroom powder, tomatoes, and pepper, combining thoroughly.
  • Allow the mixture to cook for another 10 minutes, chopping the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces once they soften.
  • Remove from heat once all the ingredients have cooked.
  • Serve hot on a bed of spaghetti.
