How to Make Beef Picadillo with No Oil

Sponsored by Knorr Liquid Seasoning

This is one of the recipes I make when I'm a little lazy and have just enough time to throw things in a skillet and make dinner.

Beef Picadillo is a simple recipe taking ground beef, tons of fresh and frozen veggies, all tossed together with a splash of Knorr Liquid Seasoning. Add some white rice, toss with short cut pasta or roll in a tortilla to create a full meal.

Beef Picadillo

Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2-4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 3/4 cup frozen green peas
  • 3/4 cup frozen corn
  • 1 teaspoon chili oil (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Knorr Liquid Seasoning
Instructions:

Take a large skillet and add your ground beef. Draw out the oil. With your wooden spoon, break apart the ground beef and brown in the pan.

Add onions and garlic and saute until beef is browned.

Then, add the carrots and green bell peppers. Close lid for about 5 minutes. Open lid and scrape the bottom of the pan with your wooden spoon.

Then, add frozen peas and corn. Toss together. Add chili oil and Knorr Liquid Seasoning.

Taste for flavor.

Add on top of rice, pasta or in a tortilla.
