Simple Cornbread

Simple Cornbread recipe by Momma Cuisine

Cornbread is one of those American southern staples that is as beloved as Apple Pie. Ingredients are as simple as flour, cornmeal, a little sugar, baking powder, baking soda, a pinch of salt and of course, butter, eggs and milk. Many of these ingredients may be sitting in your pantry right now!

What's great about the simple cornbread recipe is that you can build on the basic ingredients and add your own. Add fresh corn off the cobb or creamed corn, diced roasted Jalapeno for a Tex-Mex twist, cheddar and Parmesan Cheese...the list is endless.

The secret to making great everyday meals is that when there's only a few ingredients, try your best to use the highest quality and freshest ingredients you can find, and you'll see that something as easy as this Simple Cornbread recipe can be out of this world.
