Waffle BLT Sandwich

Waffle BLT Sandwich

Making school lunches more exciting can be a daunting task sometimes! Sandwiches are a staple in lunchboxes and I wanted to make my son's sandwiches fun and delicious. So, I made his favorite BLT sandwich with a fun twist. Instead of using regular sandwich bread, I replaced it with thick, crunchy waffles! The thick pieces of waffles, along with it's distinct indents helps to keep the sandwich less soggy and has a great bite. If you have a waffle maker at home, you can even experiment with a sourdough batter to make your waffle blt sandwich even more sandwich-like. Definitely try this at home and tell me what you think!
