For the second year in a row, I had the honor and pleasure of attending the annual International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago, Illinois. This time around, I had the even bigger honor of interviewing TV celebrity chefs for my cooking series, Great Everyday Meals.

Great Everyday Meals  is a show about showing people making “great everyday meals” is possible and can be done with “simple ingredients and basic cooking techniques”. I love sharing recipes that I come up with during a crazy, busy week at home raising three kids, and sometimes inspired by visits to a fabulous restaurant or after meeting amazing chef.

What’s so great about food is that there are many ways to get inspired. It can be a trip to your local bakery, the sun shining on your backyard garden, a girls night out in a fun new restaurant and on this case, meeting a great pastry chef, Buddy Valastro, better known as star of TLC’s hit series, Cake Boss.

Cake Boss it hitting the shelves with baking tools as well as a cake line, where you the home cook, can be the “Cake Boss” in your home with Buddy’s creations!
