Video: Trout en Papillote Recipe | In The Kitch with Momma Cuisine


  • 4 trout fillets
  • sliced onions
  • sliced red bell peppers
  • sliced leeks
  • sliced asparagus
  • sliced yellow squash
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
  • fresh cracked pepper
  • olive oil
  • white win
  • parchment paper (or foil)


Head the oven to 350 degrees,

Take four big sheets of parchment paper.

Make a bed of fresh vegetables and add a dash of paprika, salt, pepper and dry herbs. Then, lay the trout fillet on top of the vegetables and add seasonings again. Drizzle with olive oil and white wine and close the parchment package tightly. Repeat for all fillets.

Place packages on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 25 minutes and serve.

This recipe for trout en papillote is an elegant way to serve fish. The presentation is so cute, in individually wrapped packages filled with fresh vegetables, delicious flaky trout in olive oil and white wine. Don’t forget to serve with lemon wedges and a tasty glass of vino!
