Radio Flyer to Premiere Taking Flight at Chicago Headquarters with Facebook Live Event

The Maker of the Iconic Little Red Wagon TM Continues to Inspire Imagination in a Short Film Tribute to its Heritage in Collaboration with Moonbot Studios

Chicago-based Radio Flyer and critically-acclaimed Moonbot Studios have teamed up to produce the award-winning animated short film Taking Flight. The film is inspired by the life and heritage of Antonio Pasin, inventor of the beloved Little Red Wagon. In the fictional tribute, what begins as a small boy’s boring day with Grandpa turns into a larger-than-life journey of imaginative play. To-date, the film has received more than 20 awards and accolades from international and local film festivals.

Radio Flyer’s Chief Wagon Officer Robert Pasin and Academy Award®-winning director Brandon Oldenburg, CCO and partner of Moonbot Studios, are hosting an exclusive viewing party and Q&A in Radio Flyer’s hometown of Chicago. Audiences in Chicago and nationwide are invited to tune in to a Facebook Live Event to watch the film that will provide fun for the whole family to enjoy together.

The film comes on the eve of Radio Flyer’s 100th anniversary in 2017. As Radio Flyer shares its story, the company is asking Americans to share their own Little Red Story on radioflyer.com. Submissions will be entered for a chance to win a new wagon and be featured during Radio Flyer’s 100th year celebrations.

WATCH THE FACEBOOK LIVE EVENT ON SATURDAY, 9/10/2016 AT 10:00 a.m.
