Transform Your Garden into Your Own Resort

Your home is your castle, and the fun and comfort don't need to end when you step outside. However, if you have outside space, you are probably underusing it. In the UK, it is estimated that 1 in 8 households don't have a garden, so if you are lucky enough to have an outside space of your own, get to work to make the most of it.
Install a Pool
For the Brits, this might not be the best option given the notorious British weather. But suppose you happen to live in a more pleasing climate. In that case, one of the most exciting additions to any garden large enough to accommodate it is a swimming pool. While many of us will initially think of ourselves as the next Olympic swimmer, we will mostly spend the time floating on an inflatable novelty whale with our favorite drink in the sun. But that's not a bad thing at all.
Commission a Patio and Decking
A fantastic complement to any garden design is a professionally built decking or patio area. There's nothing like that for relaxing, and they will accommodate any style of furniture and social amenities like a BBQ and tables. While you might want to make the most of open space, reputable screened-in patio builders can also add a stylish extension that functions like an extra room or conservatory area.
Get a Hot Tub
If swimming isn't your thing, but you want to lounge around in water anyway, perhaps a hot tub might be more appealing. Once the novelty of the rich and famous, hot tubs from the likes of Jacuzzi are affordable for most people these days, and there are even inflatable versions that cost a lot less. But, of course, not all of them require expensive plumbing and maintenance. But no matter which one you decide on, any one of them is guaranteed to provide years of relaxation.
Build an Outside Kitchen
Cooking outside can be a blessing and a curse when using portable stoves, such as when camping. But how about outdoor dining and cooking? For many, space will be an issue. Still, it is now relatively easy to install a gas BBQ with a couple of counters for preparation if you have the space. Just remember to also install a refrigerator, or you'll end up going back and forth to your home, which defeats the purpose entirely.
Make Room for a Bar
Of course, no relaxation and food area would be complete without somewhere to sip your favorite tipple. Outdoor bars have become extremely trendy over the past couple of years. Unfortunately, we were all effectively barred from our local watering holes because of Covid-19. DIY shed bars are a simple and effective way to make use of your old storage area. Still, you can also purchase self-assembly, pop-up bars, and on-tap beer pumps are also available.
