Speaking of everyday cooking, I wanted to share a Lipton recipe for Autumn Apple Tea that me and my kids made together just in time for #FallFamilyCooking. With the crisp air of fall and apples in season, this recipe seemed like a fun and simple recipe to teach my kids with only a couple of simple ingredients.
Now that my eldest is 15 years old, my middle child 10 years and my youngest 6 years old, I wanted them to start cooking dinner together for the family twice a month. It's a great time to teach them important life skills like teamwork, how to follow a recipe, learning how to cook and the joy and pride of serving your family. There is nothing like the joy a cook has like watching people enjoying the meal he/she created.
I was excited to share this recipe with my kids and hope you give it a try too!
