Cranberry Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

My favorite cookie is an delicious oatmeal cookie. During the fall and holiday seasons, I love switching it up with sweet dried cranberries for a festive twist to an classic.

Cranberry Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients:
  • 2/3 cup room temperature butter
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoons table salt
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 2/3 cups chocolate chips
Instructions:

In an large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar with a hand mixer or stand mixer until fluffy. Then, add the eggs and mix together. 

In a separate bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients. 

Add the dry ingredients to your wet  ingredients a little at a time, incorporating the batter each time before adding the next. 

Then, add your dried cranberries and chocolate chips. 

Spray your cookie sheet liberally with cooking spray to prevent your cookies from sticking. 

Scoop the batter in one tablespoon scoops. For petite cookies use teaspoonfuls. 

Bake for about 10 minutes. 

Let cool and serve.
