Game Day Favorite: Garlic-Parmesan Popcorn Chicken
Game day is always a great day to bring out snacks and pop open a couple of beers with friends and family.
This recipe will sure be a favorite at your next game day party. It's easy, delicious and tastes like you catered from the sports bar in town!
- 1.5 lb of chicken tenders – cut into 1 inch pieces
- All purpose flour
- 2 eggs – beaten
- 1 cup of chopped Italian parsley
- 1 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese
- 5 cloves of garlic – minced
- 2 tsp of table salt
- Canola oil
Heat 3 cups of canola oil in a medium sauce pot. Put about 2 cups of all purpose flour in a dry dish and flour some of the chicken pieces.
With your other hand, lightly dip the floured chicken pieces in the egg wash and coat with flour again. Once the oil is hot, fry your batch and repeat. Repeat the process until you have finished all the chicken pieces.
While still hot, toss it with the minced garlic, Parmesan cheese and parsley in a large bowl and serve with warm marinara sauce.
