Grilled Cheese with Blueberries #BackToStrangewich

This post is sponsored by Mirum Shopper. All opinions are mine, oh, mine!

My son is almost 16 years old and it’s the time for me to start teaching him more recipes, get him excited and having fun in the kitchen. Since he was about 10 years old, he’s been dabbling with eggs of all sorts and at times, he and his best friend Harry have been known to make their own creations.

With getting him to explore more about cooking, I thought it would be a perfect time to share a unique grilled cheese recipe. What teenager doesn’t love grilled cheese after all?

This grilled cheese, however, is a Strangewich sandwich shared by my friends at Hellmann’s. Hellmann’s Real Squeeze is so easy because it’s less messy with having to dig in the jar – key for naturally messy teenagers.

This Grilled Cheese with Blueberries is quite delicious! It is well-balanced with the tangy, crunchy sourdough bread, gooey Gruyere cheese and the sweet and luscious blueberry spread. “Where does the Hellmann’s Mayonnaise come in”, you say? Instead of butter, spread mayonnaise on the outer pieces to create that rich and crispy crust that we love so much.

You can find Hellmann’s Squeeze at your local Kroger store. In Chicagoland, it’s my local Mariano’s Market. Check yours out.
