Momma Cuisine’s Food Travels Episode 1 – Fried Chicken and Ronald Reagan in Dixon, Illinois

Classic Americana is getting in the family car and taking either a day trip or a longer road trip across state lines. On the first weekend of Spring Break, me and my husband decided to load the kids in our SUV and driving to Dixon, Illinois.

Dixon is a small town, about 100 miles west of the city of Chicago and well-known for being the place visit where President Ronald Reagan grew up. Dixon is a fun and educational place to visit, and not that a far of a drive from the Chicagoland area. It’s the perfect place to visit this Spring Break!
