Quaker Cinnamon Oatmeal with Coconut Milk and Bananas + The Chicago Fire Soccer #spon

This post was sponsored by Quaker. Thank you for letting me share products I love!

Quaker Oatmeal is a staple in our home and my kids eat it almost everyday for breakfast. What I love about the oatmeal, along with Quaker’s other breakfast foods, is how they provide a quick and healthy way to get my family’s busy and active day started.

This morning, I tried their newest oatmeal, Quaker Perfect Portions, in Cinnamon flavor. It’s instant oatmeal that comes in a convenient, multi-serve package with no added sugar. I was able to customize the toppings and sugar (I didn’t add any since I topped the oatmeal with ripe bananas) and it was so delicious. As I was eating I thought to myself, this would be so great to bring on vacation!

For more than a century, Quaker has been committed to helping fuel healthy families by providing them with innovative and delicious oat-based products and inspiring them through programs that encourage physical activity. As a mama intent on keeping my family healthy and active, there’s nothing I like more than getting the kids outside to play. We love taking them to hiking trips, road trips and weekend family adventures. With Quaker, this is easy.

And it’s not just my family who benefits. Quaker has an ongoing partnership with our city’s Major League Soccer (MLS) club, The Chicago Fire. As part of the collaboration, Quaker serves as the title sponsor of the Chicago Fire Juniors.  This youth development program supports more than 10,000 soccer kids and families in Chicagoland and around the country.

On August 9 through August 11, in case you hadn’t heard, Quaker and The Chicago Fire will team up to host The Quaker Invitational, bringing together hundreds of Chicago Fire Juniors teams from around the country for a weekend of soccer, community and fun. It sounds amazing, doesn’t it?

And it gets better. The two winning youth teams will earn a chance to play on The Chicago Fire’s home field, Toyota Park, on Sunday, August 11. So everyone’s happy, Quaker is making sure each player in the tournament receives a free game ticket to attend the Chicago Fire vs. Montreal Impact game at Toyota Park on Saturday, August 10.

Quaker is so incredibly committed to health and community. In addition to the Chicago Fire, they have joined forces with national and local organizations to reach families through nourishment, education and physical activity, including the National Football League, Fuel Up to Play 60, the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Movement and Common Threads.

Delicious breakfast foods from a company that wants our kids to be healthy, fit and active. It doesn’t get much better than that. Try for yourself, with this yummy Quaker-inspired recipe for amazing Mango Coconut Baked Oatmeal. Thanks, Quaker!

*Three grams of oat soluble fiber daily are needed for this effect. A serving of both Old Fashioned Quaker Oats and Perfect Portions provide two grams.
