Smoothies are all the rage and for many reasons. Smoothies are delicious and a wonderful way to get  your daily (or more) intake of fruits and vegetables. One of the best things about smoothies is that the kids love them too!

On this week’s episode of Great Everyday Meals, I wanted to share 3 simple and healthy smoothies recipes ranging from a green smoothie recipe, a mango papaya and pineapple smoothie and a strawberry carrot smoothie. I hope you enjoy the episode!

Mango Papaya & Pineapple Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

1/4 cup sliced papaya – frozen

1/4 cup diced pineapple – frozen

1/4 cup diced mango – frozen

2 tablespoons protein powder

1/4 cup Greek yogurt

1 cup whole milk

Instructions

Blend until smooth.


Momma Cuisine’s Green Smoothie

Ingredients

1/2 Granny Smith Apple – sliced and frozen

1/4 Green Grapes – frozen

2 tablespoons – raw almonds

1 Ripe Kiwi – peeled, sliced, frozen

1 small handful of raw baby spinach

1-2 tablespoons honey

1 cup water or coconut water

Instructions

Blend until smooth.


Strawberry & Carrot Smoothie

Ingredients

1 cup sliced strawberries – frozen

1/4 cup red grapes – frozen

1/4 cup sliced carrots

1/4 cup Greek yogurt

1 cup whole milk

Instructions

Blend until smooth.
