Superbowl recipes can range from the All-American to more ethnic eats. Any game day recipe must be well accompanied with beer and cocktails, as well as a full range of styles from snacks to full on entrees.

Football, and the Superbowl in particular, is about as big as any sports event gets in the United States. It is not only a beloved sport, but is one of the things that makes America what it is. The "big day", Superbowl, is about as big as any holiday. Costco is packed with people stocking up on cases of brewski's, bratwursts, ribs and more. It's a celebration!

Now, I'm no football officianado. In fact, I'm the polar opposite. Watching the game to me has always been fun, but honestly beyond seeing the crashing of helmets and bodies piling on top of each other, I know very little about the technicalities of the game beyond the touchdown. However, I have tried to learn from my husband,  who often looks at me slight irritation when I'm asking, "What does that mean?" What just happened?" LOL And I don't blame him!

However, what I do love about any sports gathering is that the house is usually filled with laughter and play. The kids and adults alike are excited, and it's a perfect time to have a party!

This Superbowl weekend, try some of my recipes for you and your loved ones!
